Surface modelling, road alignment and corridor design, grading, and stormwater pipe network design using Autodesk Civil 3D for civil engineering projects.

What you will learn

• Create and edit terrain surfaces from survey point data and contour imports for engineering use
• Define horizontal alignments, design profiles, and assemblies to model a road corridor in 3D
• Design and analyse a stormwater pipe network within the Civil 3D environment
• Produce plan and profile sheets, cross-sections, earthworks volume reports, and material quantity summaries

Who it's for

FET civil engineering students. AutoCAD 2D experience (CAT1-01 or equivalent) is required.
