Solar PV System Design & Installation

Comprehensive training in the design, installation, and commissioning of off-grid, on-grid, and hybrid solar PV systems including load analysis, sizing, mounting, wiring, and fault diagnosis.

What you will learn

• Perform solar site assessment and load analysis to correctly size a PV system for a given application
• Size PV array, battery bank, charge controller, and inverter and select appropriate components
• Install PV modules, mounting structures, combiner boxes, and DC/AC wiring systems safely
• Commission a solar PV installation and diagnose common faults including low yield and charge failures

Who it's for

FET students with basic electrical knowledge. Single-phase wiring experience is recommended.
