Simulation, optimisation, and documentation of solar PV systems using PVsyst and SolarEdge Designer to produce bankable design reports and client proposals.

What you will learn

• Build a detailed PV system simulation in PVsyst including site data, shading analysis, and horizon effects
• Perform string sizing, optimiser layout, and inverter selection using SolarEdge Designer
• Interpret system yield reports, performance ratios, and energy loss diagrams from simulation output
• Produce a bankable solar project design report for a residential, commercial, or community project

Who it's for

FET students who have completed CAT2-03 or have practical solar PV installation experience.
