Anaerobic digestion principles, digester design, gas collection and purification, biogas appliance installation, and small-scale enterprise development for biogas systems in Cameroon.

What you will learn

• Explain the anaerobic digestion process and identify suitable feedstocks and loading rates for Cameroonian conditions
• Design a fixed-dome or floating-drum digester sized for household or community-scale gas production
• Install biogas piping, gas storage, moisture trap, and appliance connections safely and correctly
• Evaluate the economic and environmental benefits of a biogas system using a simple enterprise model

Who it's for

Open to all FET students and agricultural/environmental engineering trainees. No prior experience is required.
