Satellite Dish Installation & Alignment (DSTV/Canal+)

Introduces trainees to the mounting, installation, and precision alignment of satellite dish systems for residential and commercial pay-TV platforms such as DSTV and Canal+.

What you will learn

• Identify satellite dish types, LNBs, and receiver components and their functions
• Mount and ground dish assemblies safely on roofs, poles, and walls
• Calculate azimuth, elevation, and skew for a target satellite and achieve signal lock
• Diagnose and correct common signal-quality faults (rain fade, obstruction, cable loss)

Who it's for

Open to FET students with basic electrical/mechanical aptitude. No prior satellite experience required.
