Plumbing & Sanitary Installation

Residential and commercial plumbing covering hot and cold water distribution, drainage and vent systems, sanitary ware installation, booster pump systems, and commissioning.

What you will learn

• Design a simple hot and cold water distribution system with correct pipe sizing and pressure considerations
• Install copper, PPR, and CPVC pipework including jointing, valves, and pressure testing
• Install drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) pipework including traps, soil stacks, and sanitary ware
• Commission a plumbing installation by pressure testing, flushing, and disinfecting the pipework system

Who it's for

Open to all FET students. Basic toolcraft skills are helpful.
