Water Treatment & Purification Technology

Water quality parameters, filtration, reverse osmosis, UV sterilisation, chlorination systems, and borehole water treatment for residential, community, and industrial applications in Cameroon.

What you will learn

• Measure and interpret key water quality parameters including turbidity, pH, TDS, hardness, and bacterial indicators
• Design a basic water treatment train for a given raw water quality and target output standard
• Install and commission a reverse osmosis unit, UV steriliser, and multimedia filter system
• Operate a chlorination dosing system safely and carry out routine maintenance and water quality checks

Who it's for

Open to all FET students. Basic chemistry knowledge is helpful.
