What you will learn

• Explain centrifugal pump operating principles and correctly read and apply pump performance curves
• Select and size a pump and motor for a given system head, flow requirement, and duty point
• Install a booster pump set with pressure vessel, pressure switch, pressure transducer, and flow controls
• Configure a variable speed drive (VSD) for pump control and quantify the energy saving achieved
