Auto Electricals & Diagnostic Systems

Vehicle electrical systems including battery and charging diagnosis, wiring diagram interpretation, OBD2 scanning, ECU sensor testing, and systematic vehicle electrical fault diagnosis.

What you will learn

• Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and trace circuits using a multimeter and test light effectively
• Test and diagnose battery, alternator, and starter motor systems correctly
• Use an OBD2 scanner to read diagnostic trouble codes, live data streams, and freeze frame data
• Test and replace common sensors (MAP, MAF, O2, TPS, CPS) and actuators (injectors, solenoids, relays)

Who it's for

FET students with basic automotive or electrical knowledge. CAT5-11 background is helpful.
