Electric Vehicle (EV) Technology & Maintenance
Electric vehicle drivetrain architecture, high-voltage battery systems, BMS, electric motors, regenerative braking, and AC/DC charging infrastructure with emphasis on HV safety.
What you will learn
- Describe EV drivetrain architecture and compare BEV, PHEV, and HEV system configurations
- Explain high-voltage battery pack design, BMS monitoring functions, and thermal management systems
- Apply HV safety isolation, de-energisation, and PPE procedures before working on EV components
- Diagnose common EV charging faults and describe AC/DC charging system architecture
Who it's for
FET automotive or electrical engineering students. HV electrical safety induction is mandatory. Auto electrical or HV background is required.
