Plastering, Rendering & Screeding

Two-coat and three-coat internal plaster application, external sand-cement rendering, and floor screed laying to a flat and level standard for residential and commercial construction.

What you will learn

• Prepare block and masonry surfaces with bonding agents, screeds, and angle beads for plastering
• Apply scratch coat and float coat plaster to internal walls to correct thickness and flatness
• Produce a sand-cement external render coat to the specified texture and consistent thickness
• Lay a sand-cement floor screed to the specified depth and flatness tolerance with correct curing

Who it's for

Open to all FET students and apprentice plasterers. Physical fitness is required.
