What you will learn

• Design a concrete mix for a specified strength class using water-cement ratio and aggregate grading methods
• Erect and safely load formwork systems for columns, walls, and beams with correct propping and bracing
• Apply correct concrete placement, compaction, and curing procedures to achieve uniform structural quality
• Carry out fresh and hardened concrete quality control tests and record results in a site test report
