Swimming Pool Construction & Maintenance

Complete swimming pool training covering design layout, reinforced concrete shell construction, waterproof render, ceramic tile finish, filtration system installation, and chemical treatment maintenance.

What you will learn

• Produce a pool design layout with correct dimensions, depth gradients, step positions, and feature drain locations
• Construct a reinforced concrete pool shell including excavation, formwork, rebar cage, and concrete placement
• Apply pool render and ceramic tile finish with correct waterproofing and adhesive systems
• Install and commission a pool sand filter, circulation pump, and chlorination system and perform chemical maintenance

Who it's for

Open to all FET students with a construction background. Concrete and tiling experience is helpful.
